“A Christmas Carol” is one of the most well known stories. The Denver Center for Performing Arts was hosting their annual production of “A Christmas Carol” and needed a way to make it stand out.
I wanted to create visuals for them that represents the story in a new light. First was researching existing designs. I wanted to reimagine their story through colors, visuals, and textures.
I feel the journey to completion for the branding and advertising of the production was fulfilling, by creating elements on my own to piece together. I had a lot of inspiration from existing movies, books, plays, etc., so having my own opportunity to build something for advertising was motivating. Creating banners, cards, and garments allowing me to expand my thinking of layouts by creating pieces for different uses.
