As a creative person I have an imaginative mind. I am drawn to things that I can create physically through drawing, communication design, and photography. I like to pursue nature photography by going out into the world and capturing those precious moments. I reflect on Ansel Adams’ ability to capture a specific place in time. I use my photos for design purposes to further my own creative identity. Photography offers new perspectives on the things I am passionate about such as design skills. I have focused on learning all aspects of graphic design knowing it will further my passions.
The types of clients I want to work with are small business owners, those with a drive to create their own brands, and non-profit organizations. I like gaining insight from my peers, leaders, and close-knit groups. They offer new ideas, give recommendations, and allow my designs to become elevated. Problems that invigorate me are those especially geared toward branding and print design. My branding tendencies are geared to the likes of Paul Rand, who has a wide variety of logo styles fit for individual needs. My aesthetics are straight forward, clean, and visually pleasing. They can convey messages through color and layout in an immediate manner. My philosophy in design is humanistic, simple, clean, organized, and organic. I want to utilize my versatility as a designer, artist, and person by sharing my skills with the world. I aim to continue to utilize my skills to create approachable designs for the common good.
